As Catholics we read through one of the synoptic Gospels each liturgical year. This year (2011) we are reading through St. Matthew’s account of the life and works of Christ. Accordingly, I decided on reading through St. Matthew several times this year as well as engaging in at least one in depth study of the Gospel using appropriate materials.
